Cooling for stables

High pressure evaporative cooling for horse stables

The cooling of indoor enclosures via evaporative cooling is very common for chicken houses, cowsheds and piggeries. For horse stables this is relatively new. Heritage Products believes this will be a much more common sight in the foreseable future. In terms of animal wellfare and ease of working in a stables, having a controled environment is very beneficial. Heritage Products has been selling evaporative cooling equipment for chicken houses for a long time with great results. We are an official partner of a large German manufacturer for these installations.

The system uses filters and pumps to get water clean and up to a very high pressure of 70 bars. The water is then fed through a system of pipes with nozzles. These nozzles have very small holes of 0,2mm. The result is an extremely fine mist the instantly evaporates in the air, effectively cooling it down. In the process it also collects dust particles. The mist is so fine that it does not ‘rain’ down on the floor. The whole system is controlled by a purpose build control unit and sensors. These make sure the system in deployed correctly in terms of duration of the misting and the interval between the mists. Custom programms can be made to be used for example when you clean out the stables and want to get rid of the dust.

  • Proven technology
  • >10 degrees cooling capacity
  • Compact in installation
  • Cool the air and collect dust
  • No depositon of water due the the fine mist and sensors
  • Easy in maintenance
  • Absolut top quality products
  • Simple to install and connect.

These installations are always custom work. We are happy to have a look at the possibilities for your stables. Based on the measurements and layout of the stable, the type and number of horses and the number and size of the boxes we can get you a good indication of the costs for this system.

Below you can download an info sheet with a lot of technical details about the system and the cooling capacity in various scenarios.
